This is what we use when we pop our kernels at home. It's a collapsible, microwavable, silicon bowl. Easy to clean.
Expand the bowl.
Add one-third (1/3) of a cup of unpopped kernels to the bowl. Top with your favorite oil, butter, or ghee - or pop without oil - put on the lid and microwave until done.
Microwave kernels until rapid popping slows to 2 to 3 seconds between pops.
Carefully remove and season!
